Arsenal and Manchester United can still sign Julian Draxler if they table a huge offer according to Schalke chief Horst Heldt, as reported by the Daily Star.
The 21-year-old has been a long term target for a number of European elites, while the Gunners have been linked with the player over the past few seasons.
Apart from the two Premier League giants, Juventus are also very keen on
his services, but have already seen their earlier offer turned down.
Heldt revealed that he is looking to keep hold of the Germany international, but would consider his sale if the interested parties can table a bid that is too good to turn down.
“Our plan is not to sell Julian,” he said.
“That said, in this business it’s difficult to make definitive statements.
“If another club makes an astronomical offer for a player, for the good of the club you must always at least consider it.”
United boss Louis van Gaal has entered the race for his services following the sale of Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain.
Apart from Draxler, the Dutch manager is also heavily linked with moves for Barcelona star Pedro as well as Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan.
