Salman Khan recently revealed that it was his good friend Aamir
Khan who suggested his name for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Aamir Khan rejected
the movie as he wanted to make some changes to the script.
At a special press conference on the success of his film Bajrangi
Bhaijaan, Salman Khan was asked if Aamir Khan was offered the film
first.
To which Salman Khan said, "Yes, Aamir told me that Prasad had come to
him and he sent him to me. So this is just Aamir sahab's generosity."
Salman Khan also asked about Prasad's contribution to the film, Salman
said, "The father of Baahubali director Rajamouli wrote the subject of
Bajrangi Bhaijaan. So the first question we asked him was why didn't you
ask your son to direct the film and why not there (south India)?
Salman Khan added, "He said that was because there was a difference
in language. He said if this film has to be made, it has to be made
very authentically.''
It is said that superstar Aamir Khan was not happy with Prasad's script
and wanted some changes in it. But Prasad refused to change his script.
So, Aamir suggested to take Salman Khan instead, who said yes to
Bajrangi Bhaijaan immediately after hearing the story.
