Dabangg to Kick: Salman Khan's upcoming sequels
A Salman Khan movie touching the Rs. 100 crore mark is an obvious thing. He's the Bhaiof Bollywood and undoubtedly, one of the biggest stars India has ever seen. Be it the multiplex-goers in metros or single-screen audience in the small cities of country, Salman Khan effortlessly connects with all sections of audience. A movie critic had once said that reviewing a Salman Khan film was like ironing a pair of jeans, it was pointless. People will go and watch it anyway. Continuing the tradition of delivering back-to-back blockbusters,Dabangg Khan will be seen in four big sequels that are expected to go on the floors in the coming years.Dabangg 3: Dabangg is one of those few Salman Khan movies which are not only commercially successful but have also received huge critical acclaim. Antics of the naughty Chulbul Pandey remain etched in our memory. We still don’t mind shaking our legs to ‘Hud hud Dabangg.’ And how can we forget it was Dabangg who gifted us with Sonakshi Sinha. The astounding success of the film brought forth, Dabangg 2 which despite receiving a lukewarm response from the critics, earned a hefty amount at the box-office. And as we hear, Chulbul Pandey is getting ready to set the screen ablaze for the third time now. Salman’s brother and director of Dabangg’s second installment, Arbaaz Khan confirms that Dabangg 3 is happening for sure.Bodyguard 2: If Chulbul Pandey can plan his third visit to the silver-screen, why would Lovely Singh from Bodyguard be behind? Yes, you got it right. If reports are to be believed, a sequel to Salman Khan’s 2011 blockbuster, Bodyguard is underway too. Salman’s brother-in-law and producer of Bodyguard, Atul Agnihotri reveals that the sequel will have a fresh story while the innocence and power of Lovely Singh will be retained. He also tells that Bodyguard ended on a good note and there was no room for it to be continued, so they are working on a new story.No Entry Mein Entry: The sequel for 2005 film, No Entry has been planned for years now but it is Salman Khan’s hectic schedule that the film has not seen the light of the day. According to reports in the media, Salman will move on to shoot No Entry Mein Entry after wrapping up Sooraj Barjatya’s much talked-about film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. While No Entry went on to become the year’s biggest blockbuster, industry insiders have no doubt that its sequel will rewrite the success story. No Entry had Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu alongside others in the key roles. How the ensemble cast of the sequel would look like now, is something we are eagerly looking forward to.Kick 2: The man with a golden heart, Devi Lal or the stylish black masked superhero, Devil, Salman Khan’s avatars in Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut directional, Kick left movie-goers spellbound. Much before the film hit the silver screens, buzz about its sequel started doing the rounds. But here’s a reason as to why this sequel is the most special of all. Apart from playing the lead, Bhai will also be writing the script for Kick 2. As per reports, Sajid has liked Salman’s story and the duo have already started working on the project. While the story will be fresh, it will have a more emotional angle this time. Sajid has also registered the title, ‘Devil’ considering its popularity among the audience postKick’s release.
