Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears are undoubtedly the bubblegum pop queens of the late 1990s. And on Tuesday it felt like the '90s again.
Christina Aguilera and Jimmy Fallon took turns doing random musical impressions of famous singers on Tonight Show, it looked like X-Tina spent a lot of 1998 listening to Baby One More Time — much like the rest of the world. We were not prepared for this, but loved that Christina's so good at impressions.
So, while Aguilera tried her hand at
Cher (singing Folgers Coffee jingle) and Shakira (singing Golden Girls theme), during which she sounded mostly like herself, to be frank, her Britney Spears impression was spot on and uncanny, to say the least. It totally looked like Aguilera had internalised her Mickey Mouse Club mates singing.
