Lionel Messi put his injury woes to one side as he took his family out for a night at the theatre on Friday.
The Barcelona superstar, currently recovering from a knee injury
sustained against Las Palmas last month, hobbled into the Teatre Tivoli
on crutches.
The Argentina captain was dressed rather smartly for the occasion, sporting a waistcoat and shirt.
Messi was joined by
mother Celia, brother Rodrigo and partner Antonella for the evening as they watched a Ricardo Darin feature.

The Nou Camp forward’s presence didn’t go unnoticed for very long, though.
As reported by Sport,
Messi was given a standing ovation by other spectators inside the
theatre – and even took time to pose for pictures with his many fans.
Messi’s night out at the theatre comes just two days after a court
ruled he and father Jorge will stand trial in Spain for alleged tax
fraud.
Barcelona return to action, minus their talisman Messi, when they take on Ray Vallecano after the international break.
