- Neymar posted a picture of himself on Instagram with his new segway
- Barcelona forward joins the long list of footballers to own 'Uberboard'
- Neymar will spend rest of career at Barca, says club's technical director
- Roberto Fernandez said the Brazilian was in talks over a new contract
Neymar
has shown off his latest gadget to
his Instagram followers and thanked
his fellow Barcelona attacker Luis Suarez as he tried out the toy.
The
skillful forward is pictured topless on an 'Uberboard' joining
Brazilian international team-mate and Liverpool star Phiippe Coutinho as
well as Mario Balotelli on the list of footballers to use the
futuristic segway.
The
gadget, which costs £395, has been all the rage for a while – so it
might surprise fans that the usually on-trend Neymar is a little late to
the party.
Perhaps Neymar was trying to cheer himself up after Barcelona's 2-1 defeat at Sevilla on Saturday.
But
while the Brazilian is keen to try out the latest and greatest the
world of technology has to offer, Instagram's favourite footballer seems
more than happy to stick with his current club.
Speaking to Barcelona newspaper Marca, the club's technical director Roberto Fernandez said he envisaged Neymar seeing out his career in Catalonia.
'I have no doubt in my mind that Neymar will spend the rest of his life at Barcelona,' said Fernandez.
'We are currently working on Neymar’s contract extension and I don’t think there will be any type of problem.'
The news may disappoint Manchester United fans, as the Red Devils were rumoured to be chasing the Brazilian.
