Angelina Jolie made her first appearance post her second surgery. The gorgeous actress underwent a second preventive surgery to lower her risk of cancer, and she is back to work! Angelina Jolie attended the Kids' Choice Awards with two of her children. She looked gorgeous as always in a plain all black gown and and was with seated with kids, Shiloh and Zahara. Last week, Jolie revealed in a New York Times op-ed on her decision to have a preventative surgery that removed her ovaries and Fallopian tubes after doctors discovered she tested positive for signs of early ovarian cancer after blood tests. Her mother died from the same type of cancer in 2007. Jolie underwent the preventative surgery just two years after having a preventative double mastectomy.
Smiling Jolie went up on the stage to receive Favorite Villain Award for her role as Maleficent, and her acceptance speech at 2015 Kids' Choice Awards was just wow!
"When I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different. And I felt out of place; too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And, then one day I realized something, something that I hope you all realize: Different is good. And, as your villain, I would also say cause a little trouble, it's good for you."
