The setting is dark, the tone eerie and James Bond does not have even one, teeny-weeny one liner. Instead, Daniel Craig aka Spectre's James Bond is at his best behaviour, following the trail of a dark, insidious organisation.
After the release of its teaser poster earlier this month, the first official teaser trailer for Spectre has been unveiled. And with this, the connect with the James Bond of yore has been snapped completely. You know what, he doesn't even flirt with Moneypenny! The James Bond with camp written all over him is a thing of past. The new Bond is all about being serious and ensuring bad guys meet with a fitting end. You can keep that Martini, shaken and stirred, because this Bond has a job to do.
The less than two-minute clip kicks off with a scene where Daniel Craig's James Bond receives a mysterious black box, reported Ace Showbiz.
It then continues with him looking at a half-burned photograph, and travelling around several places to meet different people. There is also a scene that showcases the hunk holding what looks like an ancient ring.
Spectre is slated to hit US theatres on November 6 this year. The action-thriller is said to be following the story of James Bond after a cryptic message from his past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.
While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.
Joining Craig on the cast ensemble among others are Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, and Monica Bellucci.
