Manchester United are leading the race to sign Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
The 23-year-old struggled to make a sufficient impact at Stamford Bridge during his time in west London, however, since making a permanent move to German giants Wolfsburg the attacking playmaker has quickly become one of Europe’s hottest properties.
And now according to the latest reports at the Metro Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United are now leading the race to sign the player during the upcoming summer transfer window in a deal reported to be worth £40million.
The Belgium international has been a star performer this campaign having either scored or assisted in 34 of the clubs last 35 goals.
Premier League giants Manchester City as well as former club and reigning Premier League leaders Chelsea are also believed to be heavily interested in bringing the youngster back to England.
